Geriatric/Senior Population Exercise has multi-system anti-aging effects.  It’s the closest thing we have to a fountain of youth.  Science said so. In fact, one movement has been used to predict sickness and quality of life measures in old age.  The Sitting Rise Test. This is not a sales pitch. This is a health pitch. Age-related muscle loss starts the 30’s and occurs annually at the rate of 1 to 1.4% per year. By the 40’s, strength loss happens at a rate of 3% per year. As that happens, the risk of pain and disease increase as well. Imagine the losses and risk profile of someone at 50 or 60 years old who doesn’t exercise. But there’s good news. It’s never too late to start! It takes only a few months of consistent effort to offset years of decline and Movement Recovery is excited to help you with that so you can live your best years in front of you. Why?
